Students enrolled in the Music Production program at Nimbus will select one artist/band from the showcase performers. The winning artist(s) will receive complimentary recording time at Nimbus for a minimum of three songs. At the studentsÂ’ discretion, the artist may receive additional recording time.

Also at the studentsÂ’ discretion, more than one showcasing artist may be selected to receive a similar recording package. Selected artist(s) need to be available at the recording times offered.

In addition to consideration for the April 4th showcase event, all submissions will be reviewed for future recording projects by Nimbus staff and students. This year, Long and McQuade is a proud sponsor of Nimbus Showcase Events, which will occur again in July and October 2011.

Nimbus School of Recording Arts was founded by legendary producers Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel) and GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mudvayne), and leading music educator Kevin Williams (Hot Sole). Nimbus offers courses in Music Business, Artist Development, Sound Recording, and Music Production, with intakes in January, April, July, and October.
