Summary

Noise for the Needy, Seattle's premier fundraising festival, is a remarkable music event that brings musicians, promoters, artists, and volunteers together to support those in need. Headed into its 10th year, Noise for the Needy will be held in Seattle, WA in June 2012 and will offer 21+ and all ages shows. Last yearÂ’s festival drew an audience of over 3,000 fans.

Noise for the Needy brings in music from a variety of genres to venues all over the city and features local, regional and national acts. Over 40 bands will perform across five stages, including an emerging artist stage. There is everything from alternative to country, rock n' roll, pop, punk, and more. Compensation is offered in very special situations and is negotiated at the time of booking. Preference will be given to artists in the Pacific Northwest region (Vancouver, B.C. to Northern California).

Noise for the Needy has showcased well over one hundred bands, and raised over $150,000 for local charities. Their 2012 charity is under review.

Past performers include: Talib Kweli, Black Angels, Album Leaf, Two Gallants, Okkervil River, CSS, Black Eyed Peas, Ozomotli, Rancid, the Offspring, The Vandals, Voo Doo Glow Skulls, Save Ferris, and Long Beach Dub All Stars.
