Summary

Noise for the Needy, Seattle’s newest summer festival, is a remarkable music event that brings musicians, promoters, artists, and volunteers together to support those in need. Headed into its 17th year, Noise for the Needy will be held in Seattle, WA from June ??th - June ??th, 2008 and will offer 21+ and all ages shows. Last year’s festival drew an audience of over 2,000 fans.



Noise for the Needy brings in music from a variety of genres to venues all over the city and features local, regional and national acts. There is everything from alternative to country, rock n' roll, pop, punk, and more. Over 30 bands will perform across five stages, including an emerging artist stage. Compensation is offered in special situations and/or is negotiated at the time of booking.



The proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit Urban Rest Stop. Urban Rest Stop provides a clean, safe and welcoming facility where individuals and families can come and use restrooms, shower and laundry facilities. All services are provided at no cost to patrons. Noise for the Needy has showcased well over one hundred bands, and raised over $150,000 for local charities.



Past performers include: Okkervil River, CSS, Black Eyed Peas, Ozomotli, Rancid, the Offspring, The Vandals, Voo Doo Glow Skulls, Save Ferris, and Long Beach Dub All Stars.
