Sonicbids is sponsoring an official Happy Hour at The Noise Pop Festival and we want you to play!!



The Noise Pop Festival takes place February 26 to March 2, 2008. Over six nights, Noise Pop 16 will take over the best-loved venues in San Francisco to host performances by Magnetic Fields, The Mountain Goats, The Gutter Twins, Cursive and dozes of other indie rock, electronic, punk and cutting edge musical artists. Be a part of this premier celebration of independent music, art and film by submitting for your chance to play the Sonicbids Happy Hour, to be held Friday, February 29th from 5-8 at Thee Parkside Bar. There are three slots for Sonicbids members only.



All bands who submit for consideration will be reviewed by music industry professionals from our partners at the CMJ Network and D’Addario. The final three bands will be selected by Noise Pop. Selected artists will play a 30-40 minute set at the Sonicbids Happy Hour and will be include in the Sonicbids ad in the Noise Pop Festival program guide. All bands will receive a prize package from D’Addario, and at least one of the selected artists will also have the opportunity to play the CMJ Music Marathon, which features 1,000+ bands performing live in over 60 of New York City's greatest music venues October 21-25, 2008.


The three selected artists will be featured on the Sonicbids homepage in the EPK Spotlight from February 18th – 24th, 2008 (the week before Noise Pop) and will also get a free one-year Supersonic membership.
