No Lip Vol. 1

Mohawk Bomb Recordings, a new indie label based in Tampa Bay, FL, is looking for driven, hard-working, dedicated bands willing to take their music to a new level. They are now taking submissions for their maiden compilation: No Lip Vol. I. Mohawk Bomb Recordings will exclusively feature 13 Sonicbids artists on the compilation, and 2 selected Sonicbids artists will pay no additional fee!



Genres accepted include: Rock, Alternative, Punk, Pop, & Goth



The first run of the compilation will consist of 1,000 CDs. 400 copies of the CD will be mailed to music writers and music publishers all over the US; 300 will be sent to college and commercial radio music directors, managers, producers and disc jockeys. 130 copies will be sent to participating bands (10 per band) and the remaining 170 will be passed out at the Mohawk Bomb Compilation Release Party in Jan/Feb 2008. All participating bands will be invited to come perform.



The compilation will be digitally distributed to Napster, iTunes, MTV Download Center, MSN Music, E-music and more! Mohawk Bomb will handle all the mailing, submissions and tracking of the coverage of the compilation and provide weekly updates to the participating artists.



Mohawk Bomb Recordings is a new kind of indie label, figuring out how to outmaneuver the current music industry business model without having to sell their souls. They are artists driven to succeed on their own terms and bring new texture to the bland pourage that is the pop music sonicscape.
