North Versus South Music Festival

The North Versus South Music festival is an innovative event which follows a civil war theme and is held each year on the anniversary of the Lawrence Massacre in 1863. The festival showcases bands usually from Minneapolis, MN and Austin, TX and will be held this year for the first time in Kansas City, Missouri. They will be hosting nearly 100 acts
in 4-5 venues throughout the city.


The North Versus South Music Festival is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration. They have reserved 20 performance slots at the festival for Sonicbids artists. This
being the 5th anniversary of the festival, they are hoping to widen their scope to include more pop, punk, singer-songwriter, and punk performers who have that middle-American strong work ethic and musical sensibility. Compensation is offered at $100 for bands and $40 for solo performers. This is an innovative and fun festival for any performer to gain some new fans and valuable exposure.
