National Professional Paintball League World Series 7 (San Diego)

The National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) World Series 7 will be held in San Diego at the Qualcomm Stadium Grounds on September 16th, 17th & 18th, 2005 for a total of 28 hours. This 3-day event will not only include 302 registered teams playing on 7 fields but will also feature 56 artists performing on two stages throughout the event. There are at least 5 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. Selected artists will be required to play a 40-45 minute set with a 15 minute setup/breakdown window between each group. Artists playing at the event will have the opportunity to perform in front of more than 62,000 attendees and sell their merchandise. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Admission and parking for this event are free.

NPPL is the largest international paintball competition in the world. The World Series consist of 5 events throughout the United States, attracting teams from Ireland, Russia, France, England, Japan, Australia, Canada and Mexico. The 2004 event in San Diego was covered by media including Fox Sports, New York Times, NBC.com Billboard Magazine, paintball trade media, local San Diego media outlets and many others.
