Summary
Northampton MA is breeding ground for great music. Home of Martin Sexton, Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth, and Seth Glier (to name a few), this bustling college town is a frequent tour stop for many a national act, and has become widely known as one of the greatest hubs for rising independent music on the east coast. This summer The Collective Music Group (TCMG), will be joining forces with Coca Cola and the Northampton BID to bring FREE live music to Downtown Northampton!
The Northampton Summer Concert Series will take place every Friday from July 12th to August 30th in downtown Northampton in Pulaski Park. Music will run each week from 6pm-8pm and will feature rising local acts paired with other great nationally touring artists.
Last year's series drew an average of 300-400 music fans, and featured acts such as the Adam Ezra Group, Seth Glier, Jamie Kent, and Darlingside. This year is expected to be even bigger!
The Northampton Summer Concert Series is reserving at least TWO spots for a Sonic Bids artists, and the selected artist will be compensated for their performance, and given food/water the night of!
