The NYC Opry is a monthly country music showcase that takes place the last Friday of every month at the Ace of Clubs ( in Manhattan. The event is produced and hosted by Dock Oscar and Alex Battles, the empresarios behind The Brooklyn Country Music Festival, The Johnny Cash Birthday Bash, and the CasHank Hootenanny Jamboree.

We tend to feature more "traditional" country acts as well as bluegrass and old-time groups, but we are also open to roots-based modern country performers.

If you're looking to break a country artist in New York City, this is the place to do it. The evening generally starts out with acoustic music and gets gradually more rocking as the night goes on. Each night typically features five acts.

Past NYC Opry performers include Citigrass, Defibulators, M Shanghai String Band, Kara Suzanne and the Gojo Hearts.

All bands are paid based on draw. Standard cover is $8 with a 70/30 split after 6 admissions. The cover charge may increase for a larger act. The room capacity is 175 persons.

The Ace of Clubs truly lives up to its name, providing excellent backline, sound equipment, and personnel.
