Harvest Fest brings a few thousand people together for a close-knit weekend that many people consider the "high"light of their year. This event is the main fundraiser for End Prohibition Now! and NY State CAN (Cannabis Action Network) and also raises funds for other pro-freedom groups.

This year’s event will be held Columbus Day Weekend, October 9-11, 2009. At least one (1) Sonicbids artist will be selected to perform at the festival. The experience happens in upstate NY on a beautiful private campground on a lake surrounded by rolling hills painted with the colors of fall.

This 3-day, 3-night festival features 4 stages with phenomenal performers which range from hip-hop to funk to reggae to hard rock, all brought together to celebrate the plant that holds so much promise for our planet's future, and to raise awareness and money to make it legal. Last year’s attendance was over 4,000. Speakers, poets and performers wow the crowd in-between bands that perform all night long!

Artists perform for discounted rates because it's a benefit concert; pay scale is based on established draw. Past performers include dead prez, Deep Banana Blackout, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Atomic Babies, ekoostik hookah, Fishbone, Murphy's Law, Blue Turtle Seduction, DJ Logic, Richie Havens, and the David Nelson Band.

The venue has covered pavilions and theaters for stages, features not found at many outdoor music festivals. Vending village features a variety of crafts, food and activist organizations. The even is located less than 2 hours from NYC and is easy to travel to from PA, NJ, and CT.
