24th Annual Ontario Council of Folk Festivals (OCFF) Conference – Showcases

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to showcase at The OCFF's annual Conference, the key event for Ontario’s folk, roots and traditional music community. The Official Showcases are a highlight of the Conference and feature artists performing for artistic directors and presenters from across Canada and around the world. Speakers, seminars, roundtable discussions, informal meetings, performer showcases and the best jam sessions outside of the festival circuit make this conference an essential, inspiring experience for attendees. At least 5 Sonicbids artists will be selected./n/nThe OCFF’s annual Conference is the key event for Ontario’s folk, roots and traditional music community. The Official Showcases are a highlight of the Conference and feature artists performing for artistic directors and presenters from across Canada and around the world. Artists from folk, roots, traditional, world, blues, Francophone, aboriginal, spoken word, Celtic, electro-acoustic, culturally diverse and other related genres of music are welcome to apply.

At least 5 Sonicbids artists will be selected. Provincial, National and International applications will be accepted without restriction.

The 24th annual OCFF conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, October 14-17, 2010. Speakers, seminars, roundtable discussions, informal meetings, performer showcases and the best jam sessions outside of the festival circuit make this conference an essential, inspiring experience for attendees.

All conference participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. Applicants selected to showcase will receive a significantly reduced conference rate. All conference participants must be registered conference delegates.
