The Ohmstead Music Festival was started 6 years ago by THE OHMS (Cincinnati Entertainment Award winners of Jam Band/Reggae Act of the Year). Since its inception, the festival has grown into a summer staple in the Cincinnati region. Last year had 400 attendees.

The 2007 festival will be held in Bethel, Ohio (about 30 minutes east of Cincinnati, OH) on a private camp and is looking for at least one Sonicbids artist to knock the socks off the crowd. Selected artists will receive a $75 stipend and are free to sell merch at the festival.

Submissions will be accepted from the following types of artists: Bluegrass, Reggae, Funk, Jam Bands, etc. Every band that submits will get a link on Ohmstead’s website and MySpace page!

Besides nice, long sets by The OHMS each night, the award-winning Noctaluca (Cincinnati, OH) has also been confirmed. Additionally, there will be fire-art from the incredible Incendum Arts. More artists will be confirmed as the festival draws closer.

Previous performers include Jim Donovan (Rusted Root), The Maji, Black & Tan Carpet Band, Noctaluca, Four Ohms, and countless others.

Terms And Conditions

We will accept at least one Sonicbids artist for this opportunity. It will be up to the chosen band to provide accurate contact information. We will schedule the Sonicbids band on Saturday (or Friday if the winning band wishes) evening between 6pm-10pm for a 45 minute set.

The band will be required to bring all instruments and amplifiers.

Schedule subject to change.
