Summary

Okemo Mountain Resort is the second largest ski resort in the East, located in Ludlow, Vermont. Bands are booked each Saturday at their largest bar,"The Sitting Bull". In addition, they occasionally book Friday night entertainment. They have a total of 21 weeks to fill, beginning late December 2007-May 2008.

Additionally, acts may be booked on Sundays and weekdays through the holidays at Okemo only.

Okemo will be booking entertainment at both The Sitting Bull and at The Killarney, an Irish pub about 1/2 mile away. Bands are required to commit to both locations and will receive two checks on the night of the show- one from Okemo and one from The Killarney.

Performance areas at both locations are small and can accommodate a maximum of 4 band members. Bands are required to bring all PA and backline for the shows. Performances take place from 3-6pm at The Sitting Bull and from 7:30-10:30pm at The Killarney.

Rock and roll, blues, and singer/songwriter acts are encouraged to submit, and must be family friendly. The audience ranges in age from 10 to 65 years old, with most falling in the 30-45 range. There are 20 reserved spots for Sonicbids artists.

Bands will receive between $700 and $800 for both shows on Fridays and Saturdays, and $350-$400 for weekdays and Sundays. Checks will be dispersed with Okemo paying between $350 and $400 for each set and The Killarney paying $350 to $400 for each set.
