Oklahoma Greenfest 2009

The first annual OKGreenfest 2009 will be held at the River West Festival Park, near downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 26th-27th, 2009. There are 2 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. OKGreenfest is a music and arts festival that brings together music fans, artists, and environmental awareness. It's a great opportunity to not only entertain, but also educate and inform music fans on ways they can all become more “green.”



Space will be provided to showcase local non-profits that focus on Greening issues, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local greening efforts. OKGreenfest is focusing their efforts to becoming green by implementing lots of small changes. Part of that commitment to this effort is being a “carbon neutral” event.



The festival is looking for the following genres: Rock, Alternative, Pop, Americana, Adult Contemporary, Electronic/Dance, Hip-hop, and Blues. Compensation will be on a case-by case basis.
