Summary

The 29th annual Oktoberfest in HARVARD SQUARE celebrates the autumn and eclectic atmosphere of Harvard Square. This year’s Oktoberfest will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 12 - 6:00 throughout five blocks in the heart of Harvard Square. The event is attended annually by well over 100,000 people.

Oktoberfest features six stages of live entertainment, music, dance, art, street performances and 200+ artisans and merchants offering handmade, vintage, recycled, costume, antique, and sidewalk sale items. There will be between 24 and 30 artists playing the event.

The festival is a great opportunity for artists to get exposure through Oktoberfest’s press coverage, both in print and on-line. Oktoberfest also offers artists year-round visibility on our site and tables at the event to sell merch all day! Other special events at Oktoberfest include the Honk Festival, the Mamapalooza Rock Stage and much, much more!

All genres are accepted; however, this is a family-friendly event so music must be family-friendly to be considered.

People attending Oktoberfest can enjoy music while standing in one of the most important intersections in America and grab a drink at our historic SAM ADAMS/Grafton Street Beer Garden in front of Out of Town News.

Oktoberfest is the ultimate “taste of” event where one can sample international cuisine, festival favorites, and delicious desserts. If you'd like to see photos from the most recent Harvard Square events click here.
