The 30th Annual Fall Old Pecan Street Festival is Texas' largest arts festival, held on the world famous 6th street in the heart of downtown Austin. There are 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids bands. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances and will keep 100% of their merchandise sales./n/nThe 30th Annual Fall Old Pecan Street Festival is Texas' largest arts festival, held on the world famous 6th street in the heart of downtown Austin. Three stages will be filled with bands selected from Austin's own surplus of local music makers. Be it Rock, Electronic, Americana, or Reggae- the Old Pecan Street festival is a proud advocate of musical diversity and exposing great up and coming talent from various genres. Notable Pecan Street alumni include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Vallejo, Billy Joe Shaver, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Tommy Two-tone.
This year's Fall Old Pecan Street Festival, which will be held Sept. 24th - Sept. 25th, will continue what has been an Austin tradition for 30 years. Admission is free to the general public and more than 300,000 visitors crowd the streets each festival so you're sure to have an audience. When you're done playing, feel free to enjoy the endless rows of arts vendors, delicious foods, and ice cold beverages that the Old Pecan Street Festival has to offer.
