O.N.E. Art and Music Festival

O.N.E. Art and Music Festival is hosted annually by a non-profit organization called Homemade Genius. For the past 3 years, Homemade Genius has worked with the youth in their community of Greenwood, SC to provide instruments, art and music lessons, and other creative opportunities especially for those youth who do not have the opportunities to pursue the arts themselves. They strive to provide positive, encouraging, and family friendly environments with their events. The O.N.E Art and Music Festival brings together people of all ages, race, and economic and religious backgrounds as one to connect with each other and have fun in a drug and alcohol free environment.



This year’s O.N.E. Art and Music Festival is being held October 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2008 at the Greenwood County Agricultural Fairgrounds in Greenwood, South Carolina. The festival hosts 4 stages, an arts-and-crafts fair, soccer tournaments, kids events, a prayer labyrinth, and food. Last year’s festival was attended by over 4,000 people, and between 6,000 and 10,000 people are expected to attend this year.



Homemade Genius has reserved 25 of the 80+ slots for Sonicbids artists. O.N.E. Art and Music Festival accepts all genres but prefers indie rock and singer/songwriters. They do not allow bands with cursing or derogatory content in their song lyrics. Compensation for artists varies depending on the band. All bands will have access to camp grounds including showers, bottled water, and 2 to 3 meals for the day they perform.
