Summary
On the Waterfront Festival, the largest music festival in Illinois, will celebrate it's 25th year anniversary on Labor Day weekend (August 29, 30 and 31, 2008). The Festival is located in downtown Rockford, IL in a thirty city block area. Feature stage genres are, classic rock, rock, latin, world, celtic, reggae, zydeco, blues, r&b, jazz, country and a headlining stage for national artists.
The festival typically brings in over 300,000 attendees each year, features eight great stages of music with over 140 artists. All stages can accommodate emerging artists, with a main stage for headlining acts.
In the past the Festival has featured, Daughtry, Black Crowes, Ted Nugent, Buddy Guy, Cheap Trick, Allman Brothers, Isley Brothers, Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts, Chuck Mangione, Joe Bonamassa, and many, many more. Artists are compensated based on experience and stage budget, catering provided, hotel accomodations may be available upon request.
