Summary

Optic Noise is a music placement agency that works directly with artists for placement in film, TV and commercials.

Optic Noise is NOT: a music library house; a large and faceless corporate entity; a clearinghouse for everything and anything.

Optic Noise IS: highly selective and works only with what and who they like and believes is licensable; a company that works with and develops artists on a long term basis; usually very nice.

Optic Noise has placed its artists in hundreds of prime time network television series, national commercials, major motion pictures and trailers over the course of its nine years in business. Optic Noise specializes in alternative rock, indie pop and singer songwriters and are always looking for the following:

Upbeat, flowing happy/sad indie pop ala The Shins, Okkervil River, Travis

Bouncy upbeat pop rock ala MGMT, Vampire Weekend, The Fratellis, OK Go, etc.

Cool rock with influences by Dandy Warhols, Velvet Underground, Jet, Iggy Pop

Male singer songwriters like Elliot Smith, Joe Purdy, Cat Stevens, Bon Iver

Will also consider electronica (along the lines of Hot Chip or Moby), and straight up rock (ala Stones, Who, Black Keys)

Please Note: Optic Noise works with artists on an exclusive basis, and are looking for artists who do NOT have licensing representation currently in place. Selected artists are free to discuss details of agreement with no artist obligation.
