The OS Art House @ John Street Bar&Grill is New York City's newest live music venue. Voted # 1 Bar & Grill in NYC's financial district by NY Magazine's Best of New York, John Street Bar & Grill is proud to announce the opening of the OS Art House.
OriginalSessions Art House showcases live original music, film screenings, indie film theatrical releases, painting, sculpture, photography, performance art, burlesque, stage readings and theatrical productions 7 nights per week. All genres of music are showcased depending on the given night. Local, regional and national acts are all encouraged to submit.
OS Art House hosts live music 3 nights a week throughout the year, occasionally more often in warmer months, with a minimum of 20% slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. Set lengths will be 30-45 minutes. A local draw is necessary to be booked.
There are 2 rooms at the John Street Bar & Grill, the The lounge holds 350 people and the music room holds around 220. The venue will provide a full PA and backline. Backline includes: one bass combo amp, one guitar combo amp and a partial drum kit including kick drum, floor tom and 2 rack toms. There is also a DJ system available.
