Summary

Rapidly known among rock fans as the place to be in the summertime in Quebec, the annual D-TOX Rockfest attracts thousands in the Canadian countryside to the small town of Montebello, along the panoramic Ottawa River. Featuring over 150 bands performing on 5 outdoor stages as well as at indoor venues, camping areas, a variety of activities, demos, vendors and local artisans, the festival jumpstarts the summer with a blast!

Over the course of its 7-year history, Rockfest has quickly become an essential destination for metal, hard rock, punk and rock lovers from Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes and the Northeastern US. Located halfway between Montreal and Ottawa, the small town – population 900 – gets overtaken by the festival-goers with all hotels in the area sold out 8-10 months in advance, temporary camping zones set up all around the village and locals renting their front (and back) yards for tents. Put together by Outaouais Rock, the festival recently won the Ovation Prize at Quebec’s prestigious Tourism Awards in the Festivals and Tourist Events category. There is no compensation for this opportunity.

Past performers at Rockfest include: Korn, Bad Religion, Dream Theater,
Sublime with Rome, NOFX, Lamb of God, No Use For A Name, As I
Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, The Exploited, Face To Face,
