Summary

Harvard Common Spaces is seeking up to 10 Sonicbids artists to play this summer as part of our outdoor event series.

The Opportunity

The Harvard University Common Spaces program is seeking local musical artists to play this summer at the Lawn Stage on the Science Center Plaza, as part of a new weekly evening program called Summer Thursdays on the Plaza. Additional opportunities to perform include Tuesdays during the Harvard Farmers’ Market and Friday Lunch Hour, featuring popular local food trucks. These times tend to have the highest food traffic in the space.
Over the past four years, the Common Spaces program has strengthened the sense of community on Harvard's campus by creating informal gathering spaces and encouraging spontaneous interactions among students, faculty, and staff, as well as members of the community and campus visitors.
