Orange Van Records Presents Listen: The Best Unsigned Band Compilation 2007

Because we believe that people want music that moves their hearts and their minds,
because we believe that "manufactured hits" are not what people really want to listen to
because we believe that most of the music that people are hungry for might be hard to find, we've decided to go looking for it. Orange Van Records is excited to announce the first annual search for undiscovered original talent and the creation of Listen: The Best Unsigned Band Compilation 2007 - a compilation CD release of the best original unsigned artists in North America. Because we believe music is supposed to inspire.



Listen: The Best Unsigned Band Compilation 2007 will be distributed to independent music stores across the country and sold online. It will also be distributed to over 200 college campus radio stations with which we already have established relationships and airplay. 1000 CDs will be manufactured and used for artist exposure.



Submissions are open to artists from North America (the US, Mexico and Canada) in ALL GENRES and songs must be release quality to be considered. Submissions for the CD will be accepted exclusively through Sonicbids.



All submissions will be reviewed by 3 judges with extensive experience in the music industry. Bands and artists selected for compilation CD will receive 10 copies at no cost. Additional copies (up to 100) will be available to the selected artists at below wholesale cost. There are no additional costs beyond the initial submission fee - selected artists will NOT pay production, participation or any other fees. Artists will not be monetarily compensated.
