www.theowlmag.com is a webzine dedicated to the San Francisco / Bay Area music scene. We offer news, reviews and features to a rapidly growing circulation of readers. The Owl Mag does not want to dictate the music scene, we simply want to nurture and expand OUR music community. We want people to take your music seriously, BECAUSE YOU DO.
We are pleased to announce our first creation of a compilation CD of original music. We intend to showcase original music from the best-unsigned bands in the SF / Bay Area. We primarily INTEND to offer the compilation online, via iTunes, CD Baby, RHAPSODY etc. However, a limited number of hard copies will be distributed to local radio stations, artist management firms, music journalists, industry professionals and many Bay Area shops.
In addition, selected bands will be featured on www.theowlmag.com and all applicants receive a copy!
Submissions are open to all genres. There are at least 10-15 slots available on the disc, all reserved for Sonicbids members!
