Country Up Competition at the Big O Oxford Fair (extended)

The deadline is approaching to submit to The Oxford Fair, which is expecting 65,000 attendees and is looking for artists to compete for a chance to perform and win cash prizes at the Festival's main event, the Country Up Competition. 30 artists will be selected to perform and ten will make the finals. The first place winner will receive $25,000./n/nThe Oxford fair has extended their submission period, looking for strictly Southern rock country artists this time around.

The Oxford Fair, expecting to reel in 65,000 attendees, is looking for artists to compete for a chance to perform and win cash prizes at the Festival's main event, the Country Up Competition.

The Fair will accept submissions from artists in the country and rock genres. They will not be providing any compensation other than prize money that will be awarded to the top three finalists.


Prize Breakdown:

• 1st place - $25,000


• 2nd place - $7,500


• 3rd place - $2,500

Thirty artists will be selected to perform and ten will make the finals. All artists are welcome to sell their merchandise, and the competition will take place on the same grounds as the Nateva Festival in Oxford, Maine.
