Summary

The Pacific Lutheran University Concert Crew is looking for a wide variety of entertainment for on campus performances for the Spring and Fall 2008 semesters. From local artists to regional, or even the national touring show, they host a wide array of shows. Their Tacoma, WA location is within 45 minutes of Seattle and is a great opportunity as an addition to any tour. The student population loves music and is keen on skipping homework to see a great show!

The university has three different venues:

  • The Cave: A 250 person venue with full club lighting (both stage and dance). Voted one of the best concert venues in the Puget Sound! Every other Wednesday, Pacific Lutheran U hosts an event called HUMP (Healthy Uncensored Mindless Procrastination) in The Cave, and many artists are booked for this. On the opposite Thursday from HUMPs, they host "Rock in the Cave.” These shows are generally no pay and usually draw 50-150 people.

  • The CK: A multipurpose hall with the capability to set for any style stage or show. In the past, they have had two stage battles, acoustic sets, full bands, and anything in between. All audio and lighting is mobile.

  • Olson Auditorium: A 2,500 person venue with a 150'x 65' stage. This venue is for major headlining acts. All audio and lighting is professionally contracted.

Acts performing in The CK and Olson Auditorium will be compensated for their performance with a negotiable flat fee.
