Pacific Records is a Southern California-based record label that promotes a diverse group of musical styles. A registered trademark, Pacific Records was founded in 2003 under the name Real2Reel records. A year and a half later the company name changed to Pacific Records and has been off and running ever since.

Pacific Records chose to streamline its focus in 2009 to better serve the artists signed to the label. Pacific Records accomplished this goal by securing a partnership with Rhythm Coalition Productions, a Southern California based company. With Major Label connections, international ties, and Billboard charting success, Pacific Records possesses the flexibility and feel of a true indie Label while still providing far reaching possibilities.

Pacific Records started as a division of Wingnut Media Group, Inc. which served as a media production company. The company developed divisions that included a retail record store chain, recording studios, CD duplication/screen printing services, a publishing company, and a record label. One of the early successes of the label was the award winning act, Get Back Loretta, an indie rock band that has been featured in MTV2's On the Rise. The band won "Best New Artist" at the 2005 San Diego Music Awards, "Best Pop Artist" in 2006 and their debut album "Over the Wall" released on Pacific won "Best Pop Album" in 2007.

Another noteworthy success for Pacific Records was A Dead Giveaway, an alternative/punk/screamo band also featured on MTV2's On the Rise. A Dead Giveaway has played with bands such as The Used, and My Chemical Romance, and on tours such as the Taste of Chaos.
