University of Pennsylvania Fall Festival Battle of the Bands

The Social Planning and Events Committee of the University of Pennsylvania is hosting the Fall Festival, which is intended to highlight the rich diversity of organizations and interests on campus. Event includes performance by a nationally renowned mashup artist and a UPenn battle of the bands./n/nThe Social Planning and Events Committee of the University of Pennsylvania is responsible for organizing and coordinating student events throughout the school year. This October 10th, SPEC will be hosting the first annual Fall Festival, intended to highlight the rich diversity of student organizations and interests on campus. Included in this event will be a performance by a nationally renowned mashup artist, in addition to a competition open to all University of Pennsylvania bands.



Any band that is interested in competing need only submit a music sample to this website (or in person at the Office of Student Life, 200 Houston Hall) before September 25th, and SPEC will notify you directly if you have been chosen to compete. The event will take place on College Green, October 10th from 2:30 until 5:30 PM. No compensation will be provided, but SPEC will provide production and support.



NOTE: The contact information you supply for your band MUST INCLUDE a valid University of Pennsylvania e-mail address and Penncard number. If it does not, you will not be considered for this event.



A word on content: While any and all submissions will be considered, original music is strongly preferred.
