Summary

Pepperdine University is a small, private Christian university located on the beautiful coast of Malibu, CA. The Student Programming Board at Pepperdine has several opportunities throughout the year for both local and touring entertainers and musicians to perform on campus. These opportunities are:

Weekend Events - Pepperdine weekend events coordinators work hard to bring in a wide variety of events every weekend during the academic year. The coordinators are looking for fresh acts to bring to campus and will consider bands as well as comedians and other entertainers.

Coffeehouses - Pepperdine coffeehouse coordinators put together a coffeehouse evening once a month and also plan lunchtime concerts throughout the year.

Concerts - There is also one major concert per semester and in the past, the University has hosted big names such as Something Corporate, Jimmy Eat World and Switchfoot.

There are also a few additional options for venues, both indoor and outdoor. Compensation is negotiable and depends on the type of event and the needs of the programming board. If you are interested in performing at Pepperdine, please submit your EPK and the programming board will determine if you would be a good match for one of the events. Performers must be clean acts suitable for a family audience.

Terms And Conditions

Pepperdine is a Christian University. In this context, the ARTIST's/PRODUCER's performance must be suitable for a family audience. The ARTIST/PRODUCER and its employees shall perform and conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the standards of the University as specified below: A. No alcoholic beverages or non-prescribed drugs are permitted on campus. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or narcotics will be reported to the local authorities and removed from campus. B. No unlawlful conduct or language is permitted on stage during a performance or on campus. C. Smoking is not permitted in any Universiy building or facility. D. Examples of behavior and/or language that are inconsistent with the standards of the University are, including but not limited to: language that demeans and exploits women, profanity, explicit lyrics, and/or references to sex, alcohol and narcotics/drugs. E. All support talent accompanying the ARTIST/PRODUCER must also comply with the standards of conduct stated herein. If selected to perform at Pepperdine University you will be required to submit a W9 form.
