Summary

The Peterborough Folk Festival is a three-day festival which includes a Gala, free downtown afternoon event, club crawl, and our main event: an all-day free festival in Rotary Park on Sunday October 24, 2008. The Peterboro Folk Festival presents a wide variety of music, from bluegrass to bhangra, folk to hip-hop. With 12 stages and an expected attendance of over 7,000 people, this will be a great opportunity for exposure for emerging artists. In addition to 12 hours of live music, the Sunday festival includes arts and crafts vendors, a health and wellness area, spoken word and dance performances, and a fabulous array of food vendors.



Peterborough Folk Festival is currently accepting submissions for the 20th anniversary to take place August 22, 23, and 24, 2008. Compensation will be provided and is negotiated with the Artistic Director at the time of booking. lodging is provided when necessary.
