Summary

The 2009 Peterborough Folk Festival is a three-day festival which includes a launch party, club crawl, and our main event - an all-day free festival in Rotary Park. The festival will be held August 27th-29th, 2009. The Peterborough Folk Festival presents a wide variety of music, from bluegrass to bhangra, folk to hip-hop.
Compensation will be provided and is negotiated with the Artistic Director at the time of booking. Lodging is provided when necessary.



In addition to 12 hours of live music, the Sunday festival includes an Artisan's Village, Children's Village, Workshops, and a fabulous array of food vendors. With 12 stages and an expected attendance of over 7,000 people, this will be a great opportunity for exposure for emerging artists.
