Summary
The Peterborough Folk Festival is a three-day festival which includes a Gala, free downtown afternoon event, club crawl, and our main event: an all-day free festival in Rotary Park on Sunday. With 12 stages and an expected attendance of over 7,000 people, this will be a great opportunity for exposure for emerging artists. In addition to 12 hours of live music, the Sunday festival includes arts and crafts vendors, a health and wellness area, spoken word and dance performances, and a fabulous array of food vendors.
We are currently accepting submissions for the next festival to take place August 24, 25, and 26, 2007. Compensation will be provided and is negotiated with the Artistic Director at the time of booking. Billets are provided where necessary.
Past performers include Willie P. Bennet, The Rick Fines Trio, Danny Michel, and Serena.
