Summary

The Peterborough Folk Festival is a three-day festival which includes a launch concert at the Canadian Canoe Museum, an all-day free festival in Rotary Park, and a day of focused workshops. The Peterborough Folk Festival presents a wide variety of music, from bluegrass to bhangra, folk to hip-hop with a focus on high-quality emerging artists. Compensation will be provided and is negotiated with the Artistic Director at the time of booking. The festival will be held August 26th-28th, 2011. The Peterborough Folk Festival presents a wide variety of music, from bluegrass to bhangra, folk to hip-hop with a focus on high-quality emerging artists. Compensation will be provided and is negotiated with the Artistic Director at the time of booking. Lodging is provided when necessary.



In addition to 12 hours of live music, the Saturday festival includes an Artisan's Village, Children's Village, Workshops, and a fabulous array of food vendors. With 5 stages and an expected attendance of over 9,000 people, this will be a great opportunity for exposure for emerging artists.
