Summary

The Peterborough Folk Festival is a three-day festival which includes a launch concert at the Canadian Canoe Museum, an all-day free festival in Rotary Park, and a day of focused workshops. The Peterborough Folk Festival presents a wide variety of music, from bluegrass to bhangra, folk to hip-hop with a focus on high-quality emerging artists. Compensation will be provided and is negotiated with the Artistic Director at the time of booking. The Peterborough Folk Festival presents a wide variety of music, from bluegrass to bhangra, folk to hip-hop with a focus on high-quality emerging artists. In addition to 12 hours of live music, the Saturday festival includes an Artisan's Village, Children's Village, Workshops, and a fabulous array of food vendors. With 5 stages and an expected attendance of over 9,000 people, this will be a great opportunity for exposure for emerging artists.
