Pewsey Music Festival 2009

Join a celebration of music with a diverse range of acts from South-West England, and the world beyond. The scene is set in the Pewsey Vale behind the historic Cooper’s Arms public house, with Pewsey’s White Horse providing the backdrop. This year’s festival will be held on August 8th.


Pewsey Music Festival was launched last year to showcase local talent and feature a random super-act. Seven or eight artists play the festival -with at least one slot reserved for a Sonicbids artist. Selected artists will be £150-£300, dependent on size of band, plus goody bags of snacks. Last year saw the astounding New Jersey soul-funk six-piece Big Baby Ernie - who were introduced to PMF by headliners and honorary Pewseyites The Convulsions - as well as some of Wiltshire’s finest – Nick Harper, Jon Amor, Hitchmo and Big Num.

Set length will be one hour minimum. There will be a PA but no backline.
