Summary

For 33 years Phoenix Pride has been organizing marches, rallies, parades and entertainment/ educational events to celebrate the Phoenix LGBTQ community. The Phoenix Pride Festival is the largest LGBTQ event in the state of Arizona held in central Phoenix at Steele Indian School Park, April 5th - 6th, 2014. At least 15 Sonicbids artists will be selected.

This two day festival is designed to bring our diverse LGBTQ and allied communities together for a weekend of camaraderie and celebration of our past, present and future while raising monies for Phoenix Pride and its community programs. This event brings over 25,000 attendees with two days of exposure and marketing opportunities for businesses intent on creating relationships within the LGBTQ community. The festival offers over 300 exhibitors, Arts Expo, Erotic Art World and 5 Entertainment Stages (Festival, Community, Bistro, Dance Pavilion and Pride Metro).

Most entertainment slots will be filled with artists who submit through Sonicbids. There will be around 50 artists to play this festival. Compensation is negotiable and lodging may be provided for out of town acts for Festival Stage and Bistro Stage. For Community, Dance Pavilion and Pride Metro stages we are seeking volunteer entertainers only.

The festival celebrates diversity in music and features local, regional and national performers in genres including everything from A Capella, Acoustic, Adult Contemporary, Alternative, Americana, Blues, Broadway, Cabaret, Celtic, Country, Cover Band, Electronic/Dance/DJ, Folk, Funk, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jam Band, Jazz, Latin, New Age/Ambient, Pop, Punk, Reggae, Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Soul, Urban/R&B, and more.
