PLAY: Pianos Upstairs (NYC) - Winter

It's that time of the year for local and touring bands to come and play at NYC's best music venue! Located in the legendary Lower East Side District, Piano's is looking for awesome bands to play the upstairs stage throughout the winter. With a dedicated local following, this is a great way to build your reputation in and play with other great bands.

Live at Piano's Upstairs is a night dedicated to the celebrating local and touring artists at one of the mainstay venues of the Lower East Side music scene.

Lucius, You Wont, Savoir Adore, Lady Lamb the Bee Keeper, Cultfever, The Griswolds, Courtney Barnett

 Piano's is looking for awesome bands to play throughout the winter. This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band. This is an amazing opportunity to get active in a super progressive music scene and start building a fan base and relationships with one of the best venues in NYC.

• Ages 21+ (all band members)
• DJs, indie rock, singer-songwriter, pop, folk music
• Must be able to draw 10-15 people 
• Acoustic, solo, small acts preferred
• 
  

  Bands must be actively playing shows 

• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

• Acts must have a solid online presence 

• Bands are able to sell merch on-site

• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

• Slots are 7-10 pm
• Sound includes only PA, mics, D/I boxes
• Bands must provide basic backline
• Drumkit is available but performers must bring their own cymbals and snare
• Room Capacity 100+

• Performers get an allotted number of drink tickets for the night
  
• Artists may sell merchandise on-site
•
