Tour of India 2011 presented by Planetary Group and Sonicbids

After years of successful shows and tours in China and Scandinavia, Planetary Group is now seeking artists for an unprecedented tour of India. One Sonicbids artist will be selected for an all expenses paid tour of India's best venues throughout the country.

The tour will take place in January of 2011 and Planetary takes care of all logistics like visas, airfare, backline rentals, permits and housing. Time will be built into the tour to check out sights and landmarks like the Taj Mahal.



One Sonicbids artist will also receive a full 8 week radio campaign to hundreds of college radio stations worth $3000, courtesy of Planetary Group./n/nJUST ANNOUNCED: Tour of India 2011 has officially extended its deadline to November 2, 2010.

After nine years of successful shows and tours in China and Scandinavia, Planetary Group is now accepting submissions for an unprecedented tour of India. One Sonicbids artist will be selected for a once in a lifetime, all expenses paid tour of India's best venues throughout cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bangalore.

The tour will take place in late January of 2011 and will be 1-2 weeks in length, depending on the number of dates confirmed. Planetary takes care of all logistics: visas, airfare, backline rentals, permits and housing.

Planetary Group will also provide one submitting Sonicbids artist with a full eight-week radio campaign (a $3000 value) to 300 college radio stations around the country. They will create and send professional materials to the specially targeted list of stations and provide weekly reports on the resulting airplay. Planetary can also provide contact info for supporting stations so bands can thank them for airplay or set up further activities like interviews, performances, etc.

Submitting artists will also receive discounts of up to 50% on Plantery's services, which include radio promotion, new media promotion, tour press and web page design. They only work with artists that are a good fit for them, but they have multiple services, so they can generally do something for most artists.

Genres accepted include Rock, Pop, Reggae, World, Jazz, Blues, Singer/Songwriter and Hip-Hop.
