Planet LA Film/TV Showcase on the Sunset Strip

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to Planet LA, who are hosting a showcase series with their film/TV publishing partners and industry contacts. Occurring at premiere venue on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood (e.g., Whisky a Go Go, Roxy, Viper Room), the event will coincide with the annual Billboard Film/TV Music and TAXI A&R conferences in LA.

At least six Sonicbids artists will be selected to perform at the showcase.

The selected artists will have the option to have one song featured in the upcoming Planet LA-MusicBox compilation which will be distributed by Planet LA to industry contacts./n/nPlanet LA Records is hosting a showcase series with their film/TV publishing partners and industry contacts at a premiere venue on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood (e.g., Whisky a Go Go, Roxy, Viper Room) the week of October 28 to November 3, 2011, to coincide with the annual Billboard Film/TV Music and TAXI A&R conferences in Los Angeles, CA. At least six Sonicbids artists will be selected to perform at the showcase, which will provide excellent exposure for your music and may result in future licensing opportunities.

Planet LA will offer one night's accommodation close to the showcase venue (one room per band/artist), a welcome meal and local transport for out-of-town artists selected. Artists will not be compensated for their performance and must cover their own travel to Los Angeles.



The selected artists will have the option to have one song featured in the upcoming Planet LA-MusicBox compilation which will be a part of the MusicBox library catalog and be distributed by Planet LA to industry contacts. Revenue from licensing and publishing for the selected song in the catalog is split 50/50 with the artists, on a 5-year exclusive basis. Artists maintain all other rights to distribute and sell their music during this period.
