Planet LA Music Publishing Compilation

Planet LA Records and its publishing affiliate Planet LA Music have partnered with MusicBox Library, an established publisher with a strong network among film/TV music supervisors, film studios and ad agencies, to expand their catalog for film/TV licensing and placement opportunities.

The compilations will feature broadcast quality songs from a variety of genres, especially rock, pop, singer-songwriter and hip-hop, mostly with vocals and instrumental versions required if artists are selected./n/nPlanet LA Records and its publishing affiliate Planet LA Music have partnered with MusicBox Library, an established publisher with a strong network among film/tv music supervisors, film studios and ad agencies, to expand their catalog for film/tv licensing and placement opportunities.



The compilations will feature broadcast quality songs from a variety of genres, especially rock, pop, singer-songwriter and hip-hop, mostly with vocals and instrumental versions required if artists are selected.



Selected artists will then enter into a 5-year exclusive agreement for the individual song with Planet LA, with proceeds from licensing and publishing shared on a 50/50 basis. The exclusivity requirement is for the song only and not for the full album or the artist themselves. Artists should have full ownership or rights to the song copyright and publishing, and the song must not be placed in another publishing catalog during the period of exclusivity. Artists maintain their rights to sell and distribute their recordings.
