Summary

Ka$h Rules Entertainment is an urban entertainment company whose mission is to discover, develop, produce, manage, market, and promote emerging entertainers and to sell music in the retail and internet environments.

Ka$h Rules Entertainment is pleased to announce the creation of a soundtrack CD of original music to accompany the upcoming release of "Platinum Dreams” - A Novel by Jacki Kash.

Our goal is to showcase original music from the best emerging artists in the U.S. and beyond. This is our 2nd CD project. Our ultimate goal is to create opportunities for artists to increase their visibility and reach a wider audience. This opportunity will integrate the marketing and promotion of the novel with the soundtrack to increase exposure of both products across a wide range of markets.

Artists selected to appear on the soundtrack will receive global promotion via the Internet, media outlets, retail environments, and promotional events. In addition, each artist will receive six-months of promotion on www.kashrules.com complete with the artistÂ’s logo, bio, a link to the artist's website, and up to three photos. Musicians selected to participate on the CD may also be asked to perform at select venues throughout the U.S. to promote the soundtrack and book.

There will be an initial pressing of 1,000 copies of the CD and distribution will begin in July 2006. Artists will receive 20 copies of the CD to distribute themselves, and may obtain additional copies for 50% of the suggested retail price.

There is an additional $200 fee to appear on the CD once the artist has been selected. This will help to cover final production, manufacturing, and shipping costs.

Submissions are open to a variety of genres including: Hip-Hop, Urban Gospel, R&B, Pop, Rap, and Poetry. Explicit lyrics are not allowed, so all songs must be radio edited.

All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation.
