Alive@Five is looking for 1 Sonicbids artist to play their downtown summer festival. Artists will receive exposure to over 8,000 attendees.
The Opportunity
Attended by an audience of 8,000 strong, Alive@Five is a six week outdoor summer concert series featuring national headliners. Local and regional artists support the national headliner each week, providing multiple opportunities for up-and-coming artists to share the bill with established and recognizable names.
Past Headliners Include: Shaggy, O.A.R., Andy Grammer, Michael Franti, Barenaked Ladies, Matisyahu, Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, MC Hammer, Vertical Horizon, Five for Fighting, Gin Blossoms, Soul Asylum, Sugar Ray, Boyz II Men, Sister Hazel, , Better Than Ezra, Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, The Beach Boys
The Band
- Open to all genres
- Original music only, no cover bands please
- Opening bands that have performed at Alive@Five in the past are not eligible to perform again
- Applicants must be available to perform on any or all of the following dates: July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, August 3 and August 10.
The Gig
- 45-minute set
- PA and Engineer provided
- There is no monetary compensation for opening bands
- All proceeds from merchandise are retained by the artists (must supply personnel to staff the merchandise tent)
