The 25th annual Jeff Buckley Tribute is celebrating what would have been Jeff’s 56th birthday on November 16 & 17, 2022
The tribute is a fundraiser for the Old Town School of Folk Music Scholarship Fund, and is a celebrating of Jeff Buckley's birthday. Every year Uncommon Ground raises around $1500 for the next generation of artists. This year, the event is supported by the Buckley family and featured on the official Jeff Buckley website. We will also be providing special commemorative album giveaways for performers and audience members!
The Opportunity
By being a part of this event, you are supporting the next generation of artists, communing with other musicians, and celebrating the life and birthday of a legendary artist.
The Band
Musicians donate their time and talent to perform two songs for one of the two nights. Past events have features performers from all over the world, including France, Italy, Denmark, Holland, Mexico, UK, Australia, and Canada.
The Gig
We have an outstanding sound system with a PA, but we do not have any house instruments onsite. Artists are expected to bring what is needed for their performance.
*Travel to Chicago is not paid for/accommodated*
