Cape May Singer-Songwriter is back in 2020 & is seeking up to 100 Sonicbids artists to perform and take part in this year's conference.


The Opportunity

The 13th annual Cape May Singer-Songwriter Conference & Showcase will take place in historic Cape May, NJ. The weekend event features two afternoons of music business panels, workshops, clinics, mentoring and demo listening sessions and musical keynotes at the historic Congress Hall and the Harrison Conference Center.

CMSS also celebrates new music as selected acts and artists will shine with nighttime showcase performances at 18 select local venues. Over 150 acts and artists will be selected from showcase submissions to participate in 2020.

The Band

  • Singer-songwriters (acoustic solo, duo, trio...) and bands are welcome

The Gig

Details:

  • 40-60 minute performance sets
  • 18 venues
  • 100-500 capacity venues
  • Band venues have backline
  • All venues have professional light and sound
  • All venues have sound and light engineers
  • 3 stages have grand pianos
Additional Compensation Details:
  • All Sonicbids artists that submit are guaranteed free registration credentials valued at $100. Credentials allow artists to attend and participate in the conference, whether selected to perform or not
  • May go through event's website for special deals on hotel rooms at off season rate
  • May sell merchandise onsite

Compensation

  • Percentage of Merchandise Sales: 100%
