Summary

Drunken Unicorn is a No-frills lively dance club and live-music venue located in Atlanta. Driven by live music, we feature a variety of genres weekly. Part of the legendary MJQ, one of Atlanta's longest-running dance clubs, we've been established since 2004 and have no plans of slowing down anytime soon. We're currently looking for live acts and DJ's to come and rock our legendary stage this fall/winter.

We're looking ahead in the 2020 calendar due to social distancing measures currently in place.

The Opportunity

Located in NE Atlanta, Drunken Unicorn has always been known to have an edge and a vibe that people come to expect to sweat and dance when they come through the doors and listen to top-notch music. We're always looking for the opportunity to discover hot new bands whether your local, regional or nationally touring. We're dedicated to exploring many different genres and give a platform to acts that are making moves and building their musical careers.

The Band

We have more dates available than those listed. This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band.

Bands must have live show history in Atlanta and bring a crowd
This is an opportunity for local and nationally touring artists.
We're looking for Rock, Hip-Hop, Punk, Metal, Indie, Alternative Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to mostly all genres
We prefer booking acts that have an upbeat sound
DJ's are welcome to apply
Bands must be actively playing shows
Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
Acts must have a solid online presence

The Gig

Set Lengths are typically 40 mins - 1 hour

General backline and PA is provided
Most bands will receive a percentage of door sales
Bigger acts typically get a guarantee

Bands are able to sell merch on-site

About Tight Bros Network

Atlanta, Georgia, USA

If you go out to have a good time in Atlanta, chances are you’ve been to a Tight Bros Network show. At it since 2001, we produce IRL live music and comedy events at venues across the city. Our journey began at the turn of the century in the basement of the Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery where we learned how to book shows working with mostly experimental artists and local musicians. We organized hundreds of DIY events and collaborated with artists in support many progressive multimedia events. We started the Kirkwood Ballers’ Club, an open-mic arts incubator and haven for adventurous experiments in music, a staple destination in the Atlanta music scene for over a decade. After several years of in service to the community, we launched Tight Bros Network and expanded our shows to local clubs, The Earl, MJQ and Star Bar. In 2004, Tight Bros Network became the talent purchaser for Drunken Unicorn where we booked feverishly to bring in larger national and international artists and DJs to Atlanta. We built a solid reputation based thoughtful curation and artistic integrity. We were Best Local Concert Promoter 2006, 2007, and 2008 according to the Creative Loafing, Atlanta. In 2008 we switched gears to help our friends book bands at 529, a small club, unknown at the time, located in East Atlanta Village, where we helped nurture a bright local music scene for over seven years. We’ve returned to our roots and are back to booking the Drunken Unicorn and MJQ. We’re open to new projects and ideas. Occasionally, we book musical acts for Adult Swim’s Fishcenter live stream, plus curate events for Red Bull Sound Select and PBR. Were all over the city in venues – Drunken Unicorn, Terminal West, Variety Playhouse and The Earl.
