PLAY: Elbo Room (Chicago)

The Elbo Room has been Chicago's staple for music and entertainment since 1989. The Elbo Room prides itself on presenting diverse live shows seven nights and week. Featuring the finest local, regional and national touring acts, we're very passionate about delivering the best musical experience in Chicago! The Elbo Room is currently looking for bands to rock the house this winter season on the main stage and the upstairs lounge. 

If you live or are touring through the Chicago area, this is your big opportunity to grace the legendary stages at The Elbo Room. If your band has a unique sound and a great draw, apply now! Since 1989, countless bands who have performed at the Elbo room have gone onto have very successful careers in the music biz. If you've been looking for a venue that has the best reputation for live music in Chicago, then this is your chance to play at the Elbo room! If you're looking to get involved in a progressive music scene and meet other musicians and gain new fans, this is the gig for you!

We're looking for Blues, Americana, Rock, Soul, Acoustic, Indie, Folk and Funk bands. We're also open to other genres if it makes sense for the musical bill. 

Bands must have Live stage experience

Bands must have a solid online presence

Bands can sell their merch on-site

Bands promote the show 

Bands must bring a crowd

This is also a great opportunity for local, regional up and coming acts to get more visibility. 

We're also seeking acoustic acts for the upstairs lounge (No drums or loud amps allowed in the upstairs lounge)
