PLAY: Folk On The Rocks 38th Annual Music Festival (CAN) - July

Folk On The Rocks 2018 (FOTR) is a three day music festival held July 20 -22 on the sunny shores of Long Lake, just outside of Yellowknife, NT, Canada. FOTR is looking for two Soinicbids artists to join their roster of performers. 

Flights and accommodations will be covered for selected artists. Monetary compensation is provided and negotiated at the time of booking.

Celebrating it's 38th year, FOTR is one of Canada’s top summertime music and cultural festivals, drawing performers from the NWT, Nunavut and all across Canada for the North’s biggest party under the midnight sun. The festival boasts more than 24 hours of programming on five stages, including a children's area and a beer garden, promising fun and enjoyment for all ages.

Along with the music, crowds can savor international and traditional cuisine at the food fair, buy Northern creative works, and check out other non-profit groups and activities in the artisan tent. Come be a part of the magic as performers from all over Canada and the world create and collaborate in the biggest artistic jam in the North.

• 2-3 support sets of 45-60 minutes
• Headliner sets are generally 60-75 minutes 
• All performances outdoors
• Backline is provided (special requests granted on case by case basis)
• Professional sound and engineer provided

• Artists receive passes and allowed one guest pass per member
• Food and drink provided
• Artists may sell merchandise and retain 85% of sales
