PLAY: Fremont Theater

The Fremont Theater is a historic movie theater in San Luis Obispo, California in the United States of America. It is among the last Streamline Moderne theaters built by architect S. Charles Lee. The Fremont partnered up with Ineffable Music, an independent coalition of artists, managers and promoters that work together to curate music and live events across the world. With a diverse roster of bands, festivals, and venues, Ineffable focuses on experiences and providing an outlet for artists to be heard. 

 Ineffable is proud to now curate a channel with Apple Music and will use a plethora of creative outlets to produce playlists for fans of music, roots, and culture. Ineffable is currently looking to book Sonicbids artists to play at the legendary San Luis Obispo venue, The Fremont Theater this fall/winter. 

We're looking ahead in the 2020 calendar due to social distancing measures currently in place.

Located in Downtown San Luis Obispo, The Fremont Theater has produced thousands of shows featuring local, regional and Internationally touring artists. 

Located in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo, CA, the Fremont Theater is a historic movie theater, built-in 1941. Throughout its early years, it served both as a moving picture theater and a live entertainment venue. In the late 20th century, developers wanted to raze the building to install a new multiplex, but public outcry saved the theater. Full of rich, art deco charm, this theater has hosted everything from war bond shows to Adam Ant and Yes. 

• This is a great opportunity for local and nationally touring artists. 
• We're primarily book looking for Rock, Jazz, Folk, Punk, Metal Acoustic, Hip-Hop, Indie, Country, Blues and Soul acts
• Bands must have professional recordings and extensive live show experience
• Bands must be actively playing shows 
• Bands must be willing to heavily promote their concerts and music online
• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
• Acts must have a solid online presence 

• We also book our acts at some of the best venues in California, Hawaii, Rhode Island and Florida.
• Pay is determined upon booking
• PA provided
• Basic backline provided 
• Bands are able to sell merch on-site
• Bands get access to the green room 
• The Fremont Theater has a capacity of 900 people. There are approximately 600 fixed seats in the theater and standing room near the stage.
• Opening bands must draw 250+
