Summary
Gabe's Bar is a legendary local bar and live music venue in Iowa City. Gabe's opened in the 1970s and has remained a blueprint for local food and music. We have a downstairs beer garden while upstairs remains the main area for our live entertainment events. Don't be surprised if there is a metal show after an indie performance-- anything goes at Gabe's!
We are looking to hire exciting bands to play at our bar.
The Opportunity
Gabe's Bar hires an electic mix of performers. Part of Iowa City's downtown area, Gabe's is a well established venue for food, drinks, and music. Performing at Gabe's will be a great opportunity for any artist/band!
The Band
Open to all genres EXCEPT cover bands. Rock, Punk, Indie, Hip-Hop, EDM, Metal, Jam Bands, Bluegrass, Comedy, ... Good times, good times.
We hire on local, regional, and national levels
Bands must be actively playing shows
Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
Acts must have a solid online presence
