Summary

Indie Week UK has reserved 10 slots for all UK acts applying though online submissions. All selected artists will receive festival wristbands and passes, allowing artists access to all Indie Week UK showcases, VIP events, and Indie101 conferences covering topics in music, film, tech and social media. 

NOTE: All acts must be from the UK or Europe. Acts from other territories will not be considered.

The Opportunity

Indie Week UK has reserved 10 slots for all UK and European acts applying though online submissions. All selected artists will receive festival wristbands and passes, allowing artists access to all Indie Week UK showcases, VIP events, and Indie101 conferences covering topics in music, film, tech and social media. 

NOTE: All acts must be from the UK or Europe. Acts from other territories will not be considered and no refunds will be issued. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING!

The Band

  • All genres are welcomed 
  • Bands/artists must not be signed directly to a major label. Bands signed to an indie label with major distribution are still allowed to apply. 

The Gig

Details:

  • Set lengths are 30 minutes on average
  • Sound equipment (mics, PA's, monitors) will be supplied
  • Basic backline (drumset, amps) will be provided except for breakables 
  • Additional Compensation Details:
    • Bands will receive festival wristbands allowing them to attend the festival and network with notable industry in lieu of payment 
    • A special hotel rate for Indie Week artists may be negotiated 
    • Indie Week conducts comprehensive marketing/social media & PR campaigns. Artists will be mentioned and/or featured in these campaigns 
    • Artists can sell merch on-site
    • "Best of the fest" winner will receive grand prize of a trip to Toronto to headline Indie Week Canada 2018 (Nov 6 - 11) showcasing 250+ acts from around the world, for up to 5 band members (band members only)
