PLAY: Irene's Pub (Ontario)

Hello Sonicbids artists, Irene's Pub is an iconic pub in The Glebe has been a spiritual home to artists and musicians for a quarter of a century. 

We're currently looking for acts to join our late fall/winter calendar, due to social distancing practices currently in place. Irene's has been hosting live musical events, art showing and special gatherings for the community since 1985, and now we're looking for fresh new talent to join our family. 

Irene's Pub looking for awesome bands to play throughout the late fall/winter due to social distancing practices currently in place. We'll find the best date that works for the band. This is an amazing opportunity to get active in a super progressive Ottawa music scene and start building a fan base and relationships with one of the best venues in town.

• This is an amazing opportunity for local and regional artists
• We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Swing, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues acts and Singer-Songwriters. We're open to all genres if it's good music
• Bands must be actively playing shows 
• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
• Bands are able to sell merch on-site
• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
• Acts must have a solid online presence

• Pay is determined upon booking
• PA provided
• Basic backline provided 
• Capacity +150
• Local bands must be able to draw  +20
• Bands get food and drinks
• We're looking ahead at the late fall/winter for booking at this time
